The 2025 edition of the released by global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds, provides independent comparative analysis on the performance of more than 18,300 individual university programmes, taken by students at more than 1,700 universities in 100 locations around the world, across 55 academic disciplines and five broad faculty areas. Â
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï ranks for six subjects. Agriculture appears among the top 150 universities teaching the subject worldwide, while Psychology and Environmental Sciences appears among the world’s 350 elite universities offering the subjects. Biology and Medicine are placed among the top 650, while Economics is listed among the top 700.  Â
The subject rankings are based on five key metrics. Reputation indicators are compiled from responses of more than 240,000 employers and academics to QS surveys while Citations per Paper and H-Index measure research impact and productivity. International Research Network (IRN) is used to assess cross-border research collaboration. Â
United Kingdom has 1,662 programmes ranked across 104 institutions. Â
