天天吃瓜historian elected to chair the Academic Advisory Board of prestigious German research institution

Dr Alexander Sedlmaier, Reader in Modern History in the School of History, Law and Social Sciences, has been elected to chair the Academic Advisory Board of the , an interdisciplinary research institution within the Ruhr-University of Bochum. Alexander follows Prof. Ute Schneider, Chair of Social and Economic History at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the role. Alexander, whose areas of expertise include the history of protest and social movements was a Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie Research Fellow in Bochum between 2017 and 2019.
